Best new contemporary stone mantel installs

These stone mantels are some of our current favorite installations.  Mantels are no longer simply surrounding the firebox.  These stone designed walls are making major architectural statements but still retaining strong, simple lines.. .. Quite Sensational, we think!!

Mickey Ackerman  and Yoko Imai of Amirob commissioned these fireplace walls in Boulder, Colorado using Distinctive Mantel Designs stone wall panels in two colors with aluminum channel. The home was built by Chinook Construction.
